BBC News article about SYA anti-bullying campaign

BBC News Online published an article about the Anti-Bullying Campaign launched by Solent Youth Action volunteers in the Portsmouth Youth Action Team.

This is a campaign that has been set up by young people for young people to let them know that "you are not alone, enough is enough".

The campaign will be going into schools and fronting anti-bullying week in November across the city of Portsmouth.

Stress Down for Samaritans

Staff at Solent Youth Action supported the Samaritans by taking part in "Stress Down Day" on 6th February.

Staff came into work dressed in PJs, dressing gowns and slippers to help them to enjoy a stress free day.

All staff brought in food to share at lunch, and paid for the privilege of wearing their rather informal attire.

All funds raised were given to the Samaritans, a listening charity providing support for people in emotional distress.
